Prosecutors across the Northeast are demanding answers from GoFundMe after reports that the fundraising platform created donation pages for more than 1.4 million charities without their permission. Tragedy has struck yet again for a New Jersey synagogue targeted in a 2012 firebombing. At approximately 2:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, a blaze ripped through Rabbi Yitzchok Lerman and his wife, Bina's, Montross Avenue home and synagogue in Rutherford, where they've been since 2014. An all-new store and donation center is about to open in Westchester. The first day of business for the Goodwill store, located next to Walgreens at 1333 West Boston Post Rd. (Route 1) in Larchmont, will be on Tuesday, June 25. The 4,976-square-foot store will offer a selection of used and new women's, men's, and kids' clothing in addition to household wares. The store will open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Because Goodwill is a nonprofit, anyone who donates used items to the store will receive a tax receipt upon request.
