Concert Lineup For NY State Fair Includes Foreigner, Night Ranger, Boyz II Men, Nelly
Boyz II Men and Nelly are among the performers set to take the stage and this summer's New York State Fair.
The State Fair will be held from Wednesday, Aug. 24, through Monday, Sept. 5 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.
The Fair announced on Friday, April 1, that the following acts will perform at this year's fair:
Jimmie Allen, 6 p.m. Aug. 24, Chevy Court stage
Chevelle, 8 p.m. Aug. 24, Chevy Park stage
The Art of Rap featuring Ice-T, 8 p.m. Aug. 25, Chevy Park stage

Covid-19: These Businesses Will Stay Completely Closed During Phase 2 Of Four-Phase Reopening
Though many businesses are beginning to ramp back up in New York as all regions outside New York City reached Phase 2 of the state’s reopening plan, some will remain closed for at least two more weeks.
During Phase 2, office-based jobs, real estate, barbershops, salons, and expanded retail services are all permitted to reopen under strict restrictions and guidelines mandated by the state.

Here's What's New As Playland Starts Season
The unofficial start of summer is here, as Rye Playland's opening weekend is now here.
Playland officially opens for the season at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, with a parade featuring a marching band, local officials, staff, and Coaster the Dragon, the amusement park’s official mascot.
Opening Day will feature a special $20 admission price, which will allow patrons unlimited rides. There will also be discounted prices on Sunday for Mother’s Day.
