Undercover Operation Leads To Arrest Of Hudson Valley Man For Attempted Rape
A lengthy undercover operation has led to the arrest of a Hudson Valley man for attempted rape and other charges. After completing the five-week investigation, New York State Police say it determined Putnam County resident Ravi Masand, age 46, traveled in his vehicle from his residence located in the hamlet of Mahopac to Orange County with the intention to meet a 10-year-old Middletown girl to engage in various sexual acts. A joint investigation by authorities has led to the arrest of a Hudson Valley man accused of sex crimes against a child, rape, and other charges. The New York State Police Child Abuse Unit (CAU) in Orange County announces the arrest of Eduardo R. Martinez Rojas, age 29, from the town of Woodbury on Friday evening, June 16. Local Man Nabbed After Stealing Jeep At Area Convenience Store
New York State Police troopers recovered a stolen Jeep and busted a suspect after the vehicle was allegedly stolen from a Hudson Valley convenience store, investigators announced. Troopers responded to Stewart’s on Route 17M in Goshen at 5:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, where there was a report of a stolen 2012 gray Jeep Grand Cherokee.
