Boater Found Clinging To Side Of Vessel In Hudson River Rescued A man was rescued from the Hudson River after he was heard yelling for help. The incident took place around 11:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, in Dutchess County. City of Beacon Police officers responded to Red Flynn Drive near the Sloop Club for a man reported to be yelling for help, said Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson. Officers located a capsized rowboat in the river approximately 20 yards from land with a man clinging to it, Johnson said. 'Arrest Imminent,' Police Say After Area Stabbing Victim Hospitalized Beacon Police say an "investigation is ongoing and an arrest is imminent" after a victim was stabbed earlier this week. At around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, City of Beacon Police officers were dispatched to the area of 455 Main Street for a report of a man with a stab wound.  An investigation determined that the incident occurred further down on the East End of Main Street, police said. Stuck Breakneck Ridge Teen Hiker Issued A Ticket Following Rescue A 19-year-old who had to be rescued after becoming struck high on a trail on Breakneck Ridge, a mountain along the Hudson River between Beacon and Cold Spring, was issued a ticket after he was back to safety. According to State Park Police, the department received word around 5:30 p.m. Thursday that the teen from Ozone Park, was hiking on the White Trail when he ventured off-trail in an attempt to get the Yellow Trail, said Randy Simons, spokesman for the New York State Park Police.
