Police Investigate Armed Robbery Outside Church In Westchester
Police are investigating the alleged armed robbery of a man outside a church in Westchester. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department were dispatched to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, where there was a report of several white men who had just robbed a Hispanic man at gunpoint. A Beacon man has been arrested for the armed robbery of a Fishkill gas station following a three-month search, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Eric R. Johnson, 25, was arrested Friday in connection with an armed robbery in the Town of Fishkill which occurred on Feb. 26, said Capt. John Watterson. Johnson was arrested following a three-month investigation into the robbery of the Gulf gas station on Route 9D in Fishkill, said Watterson. A lengthy investigation has resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a gas station in Dutchess County about three months ago. The City of Beacon Police arrested Eric R. Johnson of Half Moon Road in Beacon on Friday, May 18 after investigating the armed robbery that occurred in February at the Citgo Gas Station located at 425 Fishkill Ave. in Beacon. A Town of Poughkeepsie apartment house had to be evacuated Monday after a wanted armed robbery suspect was spotted in one of the units, according to the Town of Poughkeepsie Police. The Mountain Brook Estates at 134 Innis Ave., was cleared around 7 p.m., after police received information that Joseph Crocco, 41, of New Hampshire, was inside one of the units, said Capt. A man convicted of a pair of violent armed robberies in the Hudson Valley has been sentenced to nearly four decades in prison after being found guilty by a jury.
