Suspect On Loose After Armed Robbery At Popular Area Deli
Police are asking the public for help to identify a man suspected in an armed robbery at a popular deli.
The robbery took place around 1:22 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Muzzies, at 195 Mill St., in Poughkeepsie, police said.
The suspect was described as wearing black Nike sneakers, a black, hooded Columbia sweatshirt and had a black handgun, police said.
During the incident, the suspect allegedly demanded money then fled the store on foot heading north on North Bridge Street, then ran towards the Charles Street Housing Complex.

Suspect Admits To Manslaughter During 12-Hour Westchester Crime Spree
A Westchester County man already behind bars has admitted to his role in the murder of a Mount Vernon man during a 12-hour crime spree last year.
Sincere Smith, 23, of New Rochelle, has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in relation to the death of Trevon Boswell last year during a spree of violent robberies in Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, and Yonkers.
On May 21 last year, Lee and four others took part in a series of violent incidents that left Boswell, an intended robbery victim, dead.
