Police Say Peekskill Drunk Driver Was Going 75 MPH

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- State Police said they arrested a Peekskill man on charges of driving while intoxicated after pulling him over on Oct. 26 for allegedly driving 75 mph in a 30 mph zone.

State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Emar R. Mitchell, 37 years old, of Peekskill for driving while intoxicated. Mitchell provided a positive breath sample which yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .14 percent and was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets ordering him to appear before the City of Peekskill Court on Nov. 14, State Police said.
