A 31-year-old Bronx man faces aggravated drunk driving charges after police said he was found intoxicated with two young children in his car in Putnam County.
Edgar Ismael Loja, 31, was arrested on Sunday, June 21, following a traffic stop on the southbound Taconic State Parkway near mile marker 32.3 in Kent, New York State Police announced on Monday, June 22.
According to the agency, troopers conducted a welfare check on a 2025 Toyota parked on the shoulder of the parkway. Police identified the driver as Loja and said he was showing signs of intoxication.

Troy P. Stone, 41, of Ansonia, CT, was arrested following a months-long investigation into the burglaries, which happened in Greene County, NY, in January, New York State Police announced on Friday, June 19.
