Peekskill Middle School is a semifinalist for the first Elizabeth Rohatyn Prize for School Innovation, to be presented by Teaching Matters, a non-profit organization.The school submitted a video earlier this year as part of the application process, which can be found on our Youtube.com page at http://www.youtube.com/user/TheDailyPeekskill?feature=mhee.The school that wins the prize will receive $15,000 to support, sustain or further an innovative school learning environment, program or practice that has the potential to be replicated by other schools.The school is asking the community to vote online to help them win this prestigious award.
