Tracy Morgan Will Return To SNL As Host In October

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan, still recovering from the crash that killed his friend and Peekskill resident James "Jimmy Mack" McNair in 2014, will host Saturday Night Live on Oct. 17, Variety reported.

Morgan's appearance will be the third new show of SNL's 41st season, following appearances by Miley Cyrus on Oct. 3 and Amy Schumer on Oct. 10., according to Variety.

Morgan was an SNL cast member from 1996 to 2003, returning to host in 2009.
