Magic, Music Among Peekskill Children's Specials

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Children and their parents can enjoy free shows starting Monday at Riverfront Green Park.

The city's children's specials series starts at 7 p.m. with a performance by Mario the Magician. Future Monday shows include music, face painting and a balloon artist.

In case of rain, the shows will be held indoors in the Ford Administration Building, 1031 Elm St.

The 2012 Children's Series Schedule:

• July 2 - Mario The Magician (Magic)

• July 9 - Magical Margo (Magic)

• July 16 - Mark Rust (Interactive Music)

• July 23 - A World of Stories (Face Painting)

• July 30 - Goowin’s Balloowins (Balloon Theatre)
