Motorist should be prepared for a weeks-long lane closures when work begins on Route 134 in Ossining beginning Monday, Sept. 11, said the state Department of Transportation.
Work is expected to begin to last until at Friday, Sept. 22, as crews repair the roadway between Route 9A and Route 133 weather permitting, DOT officials said.
A detour will be posted and drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.
Officials also remind drivers that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
