Two Injured In Crash Involving Westchester County Police Vehicle On Taconic

A section of the Taconic State Parkway was closed after a serious two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon involving a Westchester County police vehicle.

The crash took place around 3 p.m. in Mount Pleasant, state police said.

Two people, including a Westchester County police officer, were injured in the crash. Both were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The closure began at Lakeview Avenue.
