After a massive search by police and volunteers, a missing boy was located by police in the Hudson Valley. At around 7:32 a.m., Monday, June 14, the caregiver for the youngster, who is autistic, called 911 to report the 6-year-old had slipped out of a house in Ulster County while she was in another room. Police canines were utilized to search the surrounding neighborhoods and woods in the Town of Saugerties. Police Officers Stop Woman From Jumping Off Roof Of Building In Hudson Valley
An allegedly suicidal woman was stopped from jumping from the rooftop of a building by two police officers in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place around 4:28 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, in Ulster County. The officers from the Saugerties Police responded to a 911 call of a distraught woman on the roof of the old Flannigan Cleaners Building on Main Street in the Village of Saugerties. A 21-year-old driver from Westchester who was allegedly drunk and high when he lost control and was involved in a wrong-way crash over the summer in Ulster County has turned himself in to police. Man, Woman Not Using Crosswalk Before Being Hit By Car Prompts Police Warning In Area
A man and woman have been cited for not using the crosswalk after they were struck by a car on Christmas Eve night in the area. It happened at around 8:52 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24 in Ulster County on Market Street near the Post Office in Saugerties.
