New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued a scathing indictment to the state’s utility companies for their muted response to Tropical Storm Isaias, which left some without power for more than a week. A High Wind Warning is in effect for the potent post-Easter Storm that will hit the area. The warning starts at 6 a.m. on Monday, April 13 and lasts until 6 p.m. Monday. Sustained winds to 40 to 45 miles per hour and gusts up to 70 miles per hour could cause widespread power outages, the National Weather Service said.
