Vehicle Rollover Snaps Pole, Shuts Down Busy Road In New Castle
A vehicle rollover in Northern Westchester damaged a telephone pole and caused a temporary closure on a busy road. The incident happened on Saturday, March 9 just before 2 p.m., when a car rolled over on Route 133 in New Castle and hit a pole, snapping it in half, according to the Millwood Fire Department. Arriving emergency responders and police soon shut down the road while members of the Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps evaluated the driver. Crews responded to the scene for around an hour and a half.

Vehicle Rollover Briefly Shuts Down Hudson Valley Road
A vehicle rollover left a Hudson Valley road temporarily closed, police said. The crash happened in Putnam County on Monday, March 4 at around 9:30 a.m., when a vehicle flipped on its side on Kennicut Hill Road in Carmel near Country Lane, according to Carmel Police. The incident left the road closed until just before 10:10 a.m., the department said. No injuries were reported in the one-car crash, the exact cause of which was not released. However, the department advised residents to "please drive carefully," in a social media post on Monday.

Driver Hospitalized After Car Rollover In Croton-On-Hudson
A person was taken to the hospital following a vehicle rollover crash in Northern Westchester. The crash happened on Tuesday, Feb. 27 around 8:30 a.m., when a vehicle flipped onto its side on Scenic Drive West in Croton-on-Hudson, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department. The driver was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, firefighters said. The cause of the crash was not released.

Driver Rescued After Rollover Crash In Hudson Valley During Storm
Amid a wintry Nor'easter, first responders were tasked with rescuing a driver who became trapped in their vehicle as the result of a rollover at a Hudson Valley intersection. A vehicle was heavily damaged after rolling over and landing in an embankment on the side of the Taconic State Parkway in Northern Westchester. The incident happened just before 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13 on the northbound Taconic State Parkway in Millwood, according to the Millwood Volunteer Fire Co. #1. A windy Hudson Valley road was briefly blocked by a flipped-over vehicle after a one-car crash, fire officials said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Nov. 5 just before 7:30 a.m., when the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department responded to Union Valley Road for a single-car crash. One man was hospitalized after losing control of his car while attempting to avoid an accident, striking a wall and rolling his vehicle over.
