ID Released For Truck Driver Killed In Hudson Valley Lounge Crash This story has been updated. Police have identified a truck driver who was killed after crashing into a popular lounge and music venue in the Hudson Valley. Dutchess County resident Craig Allen Dickson, age 33, of Hopewell Junction, was killed around 10:40 a.m., Monday, June 20 when his 2020 Peterbilt tractor-trailer crashed into Junior's Lounge in the town of Poughkeepsie. Police Officer Credited With Saving Young Girl's Life In Area A quick-thinking police officer was in the right place at the right time and is now being credited for saving the life of a child who was choking. A Dutchess County 911 alert was issued warning officers in the Town of Fishkill that a child was choking and not breathing on Saturday, Jan. 4. Town of Fishkill Police Officer Kevin Martyn jumped into action when the dispatch came across his radio, and he was able to arrive at the scene within seconds. Yorktown Man Killed In Three-Vehicle Crash On Taconic Parkway A Westchester County man was killed following a three-car crash on the Taconic State Parkway in East Fishkill. William Faint, 62, of Yorktown, was killed around 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, after he pulled in front of two other vehicles on the parkway, said New York State Police Spokesman AJ Hicks.
