A 19-year-old man was charged with assault after attacking his father and trying to escape arrest at a Hudson Valley residence, police said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Friday, April 26, when a physical fight at a Mahopac Falls residence was reported to Carmel Police. String Of Drug Arrests: 5 Suspects Face Charges In Hudson Valley
A total of five people face drug-related charges after authorities made arrests in three separate incidents in the Hudson Valley, police said. The five arrests were all made by the Narcotics Enforcement Unit in Putnam County and stemmed from three incidents on Tuesday, June 13, Wednesday, June 14, and Wednesday, May 31, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. A man with more than two dozen suspensions on his driver’s license is facing a felony charge after being stopped for a traffic infraction in Putnam County, the Sheriff’s Office announced. A Mahopac man has been charged after he was caught with heroin during a traffic stop, according to the Putnam Sheriff. Officers with the Putnam Sheriff’s Department say they initiated a traffic stop after observing a driver commit a violation in the town of Carmel.
