14-Year-Old Struck By Vehicle At Westchester Intersection A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was hit by a vehicle at a Westchester intersection.  The incident happened on Friday, May 3 just after 2:30 p.m., when a child was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Alder Street and Spruce Street in Yonkers, Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio said.  According to DiDomizio, an investigation determined that the boy ran out into traffic before being hit. Road Work Ahead: Busy Ramp In Westchester County To Close Commuters will soon have to plan ahead to avoid being impacted by a closed ramp on a busy Westchester County parkway. Search For Suspect Underway After Shooting In Westchester Police are on the hunt for the person who shot a 27-year-old Westchester County man. The shooting took place around on Alder Street in Yonkers, between Elm Street and Spruce Street, at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, said Yonkers Police Sgt. Dean Politopoulos.
