Ridgefield's Paula W. Petersen, 72, Was Member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Pleasantville Paula W. Petersen, 72, of Ridgefield, died on Sunday, Oct. 31. She was the wife of the late John S. Petersen, Jr.  Paula was born in Schenectady, NY on July 9, 1949 — a daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Whitney) Weltzien. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers and Pace University in Pleasantville. A resident of Ridgefield since 2003, Paula previously resided in Ridgefield from 1978 to 1988 and Westchester County from 1988 to 2003. Paula was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Pleasantville, NY. In her spare time, she enjoyed bridge, sewing, crafts and baking. Pau…
