Police Pursue New Lead In Fatal Crash On Taconic State Parkway
State police are asking for help locating a car that may have been racing a motorcycle on the Taconic State Parkway in Westchester County that ended with a fatal crash in late April. Scott V. McMahon, 27, of Yonkers, died in the crash around 7 p.m. April 28 near Exit 8 in the town of New Castle, said Trooper AJ Hicks. "Numerous witnesses have described a blue car that appeared to be racing the motorcycle; however, none of the information gathered so far has led to the identification of the vehicle," he said.
