After spending more than a decade serving as an assistant basketball coach under Steve Pikiell at Stony Brook and Rutgers, Jay Young will have his shot at running his own program at Fairfield University. Julie Goldberg of Chestnut Ridge, a public school librarian and activist, announced her campaign to run for state Senate on Thursday, May 31.
