Manuel Cochancela, 36, was arrested on Tuesday around 2:15 p.m. after a Yorktown police officer watched as he turned his red Ford truck erratically from Lee Road and collided with another vehicle on westbound Route 6, Yorktown Police said. Dumpster Fire Breaks Out On Route 6 All hands were on deck in Mahopac when a fire broke out in a dumpster of a Route 6 waste oil recovery business. First responders were dispatched to Enviro Waste Oil Recovery LLC on Friday, Jan. 18, leading to a full response from fire crews and paramedics. Mahopac Fire Chief Bill Nikisher was the first on scene and took over control as crews went to work. Due to difficult confines, a second call was made to bring in additional manpower to battle the dumpster fire.
