Lane Closures Scheduled On Long Stretch Of I-684
The New York State Department of Transportation has announced upcoming lane closures on a stretch of I-684 in Westchester County due to roadway paving. Two lanes are expected to close along I-684 northbound between the Hutchinson River Parkway in Harrison and Exit 4 (Route 172) in Bedford, officials said. The closures are set to take place each night between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Sunday, April 24, through Thursday, May 5, to facilitate roadway paving activities, according to the announcement.

Route 172 Reopens Following Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash
This story has been updated. A busy Bedford roadway has reopened following a single-vehicle crash that injured a 17-year-old girl. The crash took place around 8:20 a.m., Monday, June 10, on route 172, (South Bedford Road) lost control of her vehicle and hit a guardrail and rolled over, said Bedford Police Lt. Andrew Bellantone. The girl was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Westchester Medical Center, with unknown injuries, he said. "She was alert and talking when we reached her," he said."
