A man faces larceny charges after stealing beer from a Northern Westchester gas station, police said. The incident happened on Monday, Jan. 23 around 9:30 a.m. In Yorktown, when police responded to the Coco Farms gas station located at 3700 Barger St. (Route 132) for a reported theft of a quantity of Modelo beer. After a brief investigation, police identified 31-year-old Brooklyn resident Felix Sosa as the suspect, and called him in for an interview. Man Busted Driving Stolen Tesla On Taconic Parkway In Northern Westchester, Police Say
A 50-year-old man was allegedly busted with a stolen 2016 Tesla after being stopped on the Taconic State Parkway in Northern Westchester. Alexander Parker, of the Bronx, was arrested around 10:15 a.m., on Monday, March 15, after being stopped by Yorktown Police officers on patrol who were alerted to a possible stolen vehicle out of New York City on the Taconic, said the Yorktown Police Department. Man Nabbed Using Fake Tag During Stop On Taconic Parkway, Police Said
Police arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly driving a vehicle with a fake license plate in Northern Westchester. Ivan Mejia, of Shrub Oak, was arrested on Sunday, Oct. 25, after a Yorktown Police officer was dispatched to a report of a possible stolen vehicle traveling northbound on the Taconic Parkway, said the Yorktown Police. The officer located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop in the area of Route 132, police said.
