Driver Whose Car Slammed Into Westchester House Was Drunk, Police Say The 29-year-old driver who slammed into a Westchester home on Wednesday was driving drunk, according to Irvington Police. Sonia M. Minchala-Juanacio of Danbury was charged with drunk driving, refusal to take a breath test, driving without a license, failure to stop at a stop sign, and failure to maintain a lane, said Irvington PD Det. Person Hospitalized After Car Slams Into House In Westchester A vehicle slammed into a home in Westchester, sending at least one person to the hospital. The incident took place around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday when a vehicle drove into a home at 3 Riverview Road near the intersection of Circle Drive in Irvington, said Irvington Police Det. Kevin Johnson. Johnson said he did not have many details as the investigation had just begun, but did say an arrest may be pending.  Building department officials were on scene to see if the home was structurally sound.  This is a developing story.
