Woman Killed In Chain-Reaction Crash On I-95
A woman was killed and another person hospitalized after a multi-vehicle, chain-reaction crash near the border of Westchester and Fairfield counties on I-95.
It happened around 9:50 p.m. Saturday, July 3 in Greenwich.
A man identified as Atif Mitchell, age 43, of Waterbury, was driving a 2013 Mercedes-Benz when it crashed into a car in front of him, a 2018 Audi, causing the Audi to slam into a parked tractor-trailer, Connecticut State Police said.

ID Released For Man Found Dead In Lake Carmel
A Fairfield County man found dead in Lake Carmel after an exhaustive search has been identified by police in Putnam County.
Jeremy Kipnis, 54, of Redding, was found floating in the middle of Lake Carmel around 5:30 a.m., Monday, July 22, said the Kent Police.
Kipnis disappeared after telling his wife he was going swimming Saturday afternoon, July 20, but then never returned home.
His wife, Carolina Kipnis, said on Facebook that a preliminary autopsy report showed Kipnis had a heart attack in the water.
