Bicyclist Struck By Vehicle On Busy Area Roadway A bicyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in the area. The crash took place at 3:20 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 14, in Rockland County on North Middletown Road, in Pearl River. A 76-year-old man from Haverstraw was riding his bike northbound on North Middletown Road and was crossing the Route 304 exit ramp when he was hit by a vehicle that was exiting the roadway at the ramp, according to Captain James Brown, of the Orangetown Police Department. Suspects At Large After Burglary Of Area Pharmacy, Police Say Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they investigate a burglary at an area pharmacy where the suspects sought drugs, authorities said. Police in Rockland County said that at approximately 4 a.m. on Tuesday, July 20, suspects broke into NeighboRx on North Middletown Road in Pearl River by breaking the glass on the front door and gaining illegal entry to the pharmacy. According to police, multiple suspects all wore hoodies to conceal their identities, and the initial investigation found that they were targeting narcotics. The burglary remains under investigation. 7-Eleven Armed Robbery Suspect On Loose A suspect is on the loose after an armed robbery late Friday night in the area. The robbery occurred around 10:45 p.m. at the 7-Eleven on North Middletown Road in Pearl River, according to Detective Sergeant James Sullivan of the Orangetown Police Department.
