Joan Crevcoure, Maryknoll Sister For 73 Years, Dies Sister Joan Crevcoure, M.M. died on Friday, Oct. 18 at the Maryknoll Sisters Center in Maryknoll. She was 93 years old and had been a Maryknoll Sister for 73 years. Joan Crevcoure was born in Green Bay, WI on Oct. 12, 1926 to May B. (Fortier) Crevcoure and J. M. Crevcoure. She had one brother and one sister, both of whom have predeceased her. Joan attended West High School in Green Bay from 1940 through 1944. Sister Frances Mary Horan, Maryknoll Sister for 75 Years Dies Sister Frances Mary Horan, missioner to Panama, died on March 1, at the Maryknoll Sisters Center, in Maryknoll.  She was born in Philadelphia on April 8, 1924, to Isabelle A. (Hart) Horan and Daniel A. Horan. She was baptized Frances Mary at St. John the Baptist Church, in Philadelphia. She had two sisters, Marie and Anna and seven brothers: Robert, William, Eugene, Daniel, James, Frances and Joseph. Her parents and all of her siblings have predeceased her. Madeline Cecilia McHugh, Longtime Maryknoll Sister OSSINING, N.Y.-- Sister Madeline Cecilia McHugh died on Jan. 16 at the age of 97. McHugh was a Maryknoll Sister for 78 years. She was born in Elizabeth, N.J. on Nov. 9, 1920 to Mary (Serafin) McHugh and Matthew McHugh. She had two brothers: John and Matthew, Jr. and four sisters: Clare, Mary, Rita and Rose, all who predeceased. McHugh entered the Maryknoll Sisters Community in Maryknoll, NY from Blessed Sacrament Parish in Elizabeth, NJ on June 10, 1939. At her reception into the Congregation, she received the religious name Sister Alma Therese and made her First Profession of Vows on Jan. …
