Brad Arnold Dies At 47: Voice Behind 3 Doors Down Hit 'Kryptonite' Brad Arnold, the founder and lead singer of the rock band 3 Doors Down, has died at age 47 after a battle with stage four kidney cancer. The band announced Arnold’s death on Saturday, Feb. 7, saying he died peacefully in his sleep with his wife Jennifer and family by his side, according to a post shared on the group’s official Facebook page.
