Retail Mail Services Suspended In North Salem When Car Strikes Building Mail services at the North Salem Post Office have been temporarily suspended after a motorist drove into the building, causing extensive damage. The United States Postal Service issued an alert on Friday, Feb. 15, warning that “in the interest of public and employee safety,” retail customer service operations are temporarily suspended at the North Salem Post Office on June Road. Six From Northern Westchester Charged With DWI In State Police Stops New York State Police troopers busted more than a dozen motorists who were allegedly driving while impaired over the last week-plus in the area. The local residents charged were: Westchester County On Saturday, Dec. 8, State Police troopers from Cortlandt arrested Santiago M. Raymundo,  26, of New Rochelle, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 9 in Croton-On-Hudson, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
