Michelin-Starred Northern Westchester Eatery Owner To Open New Restaurant
A Michelin-starred chef who owns multiple popular restaurants in the region will soon debut his first Connecticut eatery in Fairfield County.
Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, of Inn at Pound Ridge fame, will open Happy Monkey in Greenwich in late spring, according to representatives.
The restaurant will be located at 376 Greenwich Ave. and will offer Latin-inspired cuisine, including small and large plates, crudos, salads, tacos, and more.

A socialite rom the region who pleaded guilty to voyeurism charges after she filmed three people, including a minor, without their consent, has been released from prison.
Fairfield County resident Hadley Palmer, age 53, of Greenwich, was released on Wednesday, May 4, after serving 90 days as part of a plea agreement, according to the Daily Mail.
Palmer, who had been serving her time in the York Correctional Institution, the state prison for women in Niantic, since Feb. 4, still faces between 90 days and five years in jail when sentenced in August after admitting the offenses in January…
Fairfield County Resident Sentenced For Defrauding Investors, Ordered To Pay $1.5 Million
A man from Fairfield County will spend three years in federal prison for defrauding investors.
Samuel Klein, age 66, of Greenwich, was sentenced to 36 months behind bars Tuesday, May 3.
It followed a guilty plea in which Klein admitted to making false representations to an investor in his company, Visual Group LLC, in 2018, the US Attorney’s Office said.
He allegedly told the victim that their $200,000 check would be invested in distressed debt despite knowing that not all of the money would be used for that purpose, prosecutors said.
