Kitten Stranded In Sewer Pulled To Safety After Good Samaritan Calls Police A kitten's cry for help was heard by a Good Samaritan, and two police officers took over from there. Police were able to rescue the kitten stranded in a sewer early Saturday morning in Westchester. At approximately 8:30 a.m., the Good Samaritan was walking her dog and came upon the kitten in the area of 276 Riverdale Ave. in Yonkers. Members of the 3rd Precinct and Emergency Service Unit responded.  ESU Officers Jamie Molina and Anthony Alaimo brought the kitten to safety. The feline is currently at the Yonkers Animal Shelter receiving attention.
