School District Names New Superintendent In Northern Westchester A Northern Westchester school district has selected its next superintendent months after placing its previous leader on administrative leave.  During a Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 23, Adam VanDerStuyf was named Superintendent of the North Salem Central School District.  VanDerStuyf had been serving as Acting Superintendent since Monday, July 22 after his predecessor, Duncan Wilson, was placed on administrative leave.
