A Fairfield County woman driving under the influence in Westchester was taken into custody after resisting arrest following a traffic stop, according to authorities.
At around 10:20 p.m. on Friday, March 31, New York State Police troopers stopped a vehicle on I-95 in New Rochelle for a vehicle and traffic violation.
The driver, Carmen C. Mulero, age 48, of Stamford, was found to be intoxicated, according to police.

A 29-year-old man is facing multiple charges after allegedly leading New York State Police troopers on a highway chase before intentionally striking two police vehicles, authorities said.
The incident began at around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, March 2, when troopers in Greene County attempted to stop Angelo Paradiso, of Palenville, for a traffic violation on the northbound Thruway near Catskill, according to state police.
Paradiso, who was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt, allegedly refused to stop and a chase ensued.

A man was charged with DWI under Leandra's Law after he was found driving drunk in Westchester County with a young child and infant in the car, police said.
On Saturday, Feb. 4, around midnight, state police found a vehicle parked on the shoulder of I-95 in Mamaroneck and went to investigate it.
Inside the car, they found the driver, 26-year-old Martin E. Osorio Villatoro of Trenton, New Jersey, intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of over 0.13 percent, state police said.

A Hudson Valley man was charged with driving while intoxicated after he crashed a vehicle into a utility pole, causing a fire on the road.
Officers in Rockland County responded to a fire on North Main Street in Hillcrest that broke out overnight between Friday, Nov. 18, and Saturday, Nov. 19, the Town of Ramapo Police Department reported.
Police found that a vehicle crashed into a utility pole, and a live wire caused a small fire on the roadway.

A Hudson Valley resident was stopped for suspected drunk driving not once, but twice in a span of just two hours, authorities said.
Troopers in Ulster County stopped Edwin Mendez, age 29, of New Paltz, at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, July 31, as he drove on Southside Avenue in New Paltz.
Troopers had noticed the man’s 2013 Audi S4 violating several vehicle and traffic laws, according to New York State Police.

Ossining Man Sentenced For DWI Crash That Killed Friend, Prosecutor Says
A 21-year-old Northern Westchester man has been sentenced to six years in prison for causing the death of a friend while driving impaired, authorities said.
Anthony Lorenz, of Ossining, must serve a little over five years of the sentence before becoming eligible for parole, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina in New Jersey.
