21-Year-Old College Student To Run For Assembly Seat In Hudson Valley
A college student who calls the Hudson Valley home has potentially historic ambitions for his post-graduation career. SUNY Albany senior Zak Constantine, a 21-year-old Orange County resident now living in New Windsor, announced that he is planning to run for the 99th New York State Assembly District in his hometown Hudson Valley. A student headed to school in Westchester reported to officials that he observed a man in a car masturbating near the building, the district announced. The Mamaroneck School District issued a notice to the community that a student walking to Hommocks Middle School at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24 advising that a student saw a man in a white car masturbating near the intersection of Boston Post Road and Hommocks Road. A suspect is in custody following a police investigation into the fatal stabbing of a woman in Westchester, police said. The incident began Friday afternoon around 3:40 p.m. in the Vernon Drive area when a family member called police reporting the situation. A local man who barricaded himself inside his Carmel home, threatening to hurt himself, was coaxed out by the Carmel Police Department and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.
