House Fire Breaks Out In Area Crews from throughout the area worked to extinguish a fire that broke out in an area home. First responders in Putnam County were called to the house on Drewville Road in Carmel at approximately 11:20 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 13, Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department spokesperson Jack Casey said.
