Intruder Caught At Animal Hospital In Hudson Valley
A woman faces charges after illegally entering a Hudson Valley animal hospital during its overnight hours, police said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Friday night, April 12, when a woman illegally entered the Carmel Animal Hospital at 235 Route 52, according to Carmel Police. A detective soon found the suspect near the hospital and arrested her. The suspect, a woman whose name has not yet been released by the department, was charged with: Third-degree criminal trespass; Possession of burglar's tools. She was later released with a future court date.

Hudson Valley Woman Accused Of Severely Neglecting Her Older Dog 'Buster'
A Hudson Valley woman is accused of animal neglect after investigators found that she "severely neglected" her senior dog. Jennifer Parrish, age 48, of Kent, was arrested for animal neglect, the Putnam County SPCA announced on Friday, Dec. 9. The Putnam County SPCA Law Enforcement Division received a report on Tuesday, Dec. 6, from a Town of Kent Dog Control officer about a "severely neglected" older Maltese dog named Buster, who was found loose on Route 52 in Kent. Person Of Interest Identified After Three Dogs Found Starving In Area
A person of interest has been identified after three starving and neglected pit bulls were found running through a an area neighborhood. The dogs were found around 9:45 a.m. Monday, March 2, by a Good Samaritan running at large on Tinker Hill Road, in Putnam Valley, said Putnam County SPCA Police Chief Ken Ross. The dogs, who were starving and extremely emaciated, were caught and taken to the Putnam Valley Shelter and then transferred to Carmel Animal Hospital due to their condition, Ross said.
