Man Accused Of Making Anti-Semitic Remarks At Briarcliff Manor Synagogue: Police A 22-year-old man faces charges after allegedly making anti-Semitic remarks and gestures at a Northern Westchester synagogue during Rosh Hashanah services, police said.  The arrest resulted from an incident on Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Congregation Sons of Israel (CSI) synagogue in Briarcliff Manor at 1666 Pleasantville Rd., according to Briarcliff Manor Police. One Injured In Separate Northern Westchester Crashes One person was injured after separate crashes in Northern Westchester. The first crash took place around 8:30 a.m., Thursday, March 4, in Briarcliff Manor when a vehicle stopped on Route 9A on the Route 100 overpass causing a second vehicle to hit a guardrail, and then a third car hit the second vehicle, said the Briarcliff Manor Police. No one was injured in the crash. But minutes later with traffic backed up from the crash, another two-vehicle crash took place when a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle, police said. Nearly Two Dozen Rose-Adorned Street Signs Stolen In Briarcliff Manor There are lots of things that make Briarcliff Manor a quaint and great place to live and one of them is the street signs adorned with roses. But someone, or a group of people, are stealing or damaging the signs, ripping them right off their posts, said Village Manager Philip E. Zegarelli. The signs started disappearing in September and to date, 21 signs are now in need of replacement, Zegarelli said in a letter to residents. Each sign costs $210, and then add the cost of replacement poles, concrete footings, sign braces, and labor brings the cost to more than $10,000 to get the replacement…
