ID Released For Hudson Valley Woman Killed After Falling 15 Feet While Taking Picture The name of the Hudson Valley woman who died after falling 15 feet into a creek while having a picture taken has now been released. The Dutchess County resident has been identified as 42-year-old Sukanya Basu of Beacon. The incident took place around 6:40 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, at Fishkill Creek, said Det. Sgt. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 18 in the city of Beacon. According to Det. Sgt. Man Found Dead Dead In Wooded Area Off Hudson Valley Roadway, Police Say Police are investigating after a man in his 50s was found dead in a wooded area. The man was found dead in Dutchess County around noon on Sunday, Jan. 1, in a wooded area off of Teller Avenue in Beacon. Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson, of the Beacon Police, said officers responded to the area and located the man, who was transported to the Dutchess County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing, and further information, including the man's name, will be released pending notification to family members, Johnson said. The incident, took place in Dutchess County around 5:30 p.m. in Beacon on Friday, Sept. 2. The city of Beacon Police says the incident involved the woman putting bags sitting in a lobby in her bag. 17-Year-Old Nabbed For Shooting Of Another Teen In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley 17-year-old has been arrested for allegedly shooting another teen, seriously wounding them. The shooting took place in June in Dutchess County in the city of Beacon at Davies South Terrace apartments. When police arrived on the scene to investigate a complaint of shots fired, they were informed that a gunshot victim had been located at the Bridge Inn boarding house on Route 9D in Beacon, said the Beacon Police.
