The Huskies (37-1) meet Notre Dame at 8:30 p.m. Tipoff is at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Chong, a sophomore, has seen action in all 38 games for the Huskies this season. Her playing time has dwindled during the post-season however, and she was on the floor for just two minutes Sunday in a 81-58 win over Maryland in the semifinals.
Chong did play 18 minutes in a second-round win over Rutgers, grabbing four rebounds and contributing two points.
For the season, Chong is averaging 19 minutes per game and 5.6 points.
UConn and Notre Dame (36-2) are meeting for the second straight year in the championship game. The Huskies have won nine titles, including the last two. The Irish, however, are 7-7 in the last 14 meetings against the Huskies, but have won just one national title, in 2001.
