OSSINING, N.Y. -- Ossining High School's varsity girls basketball team pulled off a three-peat.
Ossining won its third straight New York State Public High School Athletic Association championship Saturday, defeating Rush-Henrietta 76-54 in the title game Saturday at Hudson Valley Community College.
University of Hartford-bound Jalay Knowles poured in a career-high 45 points to lead the way for Ossining and earn tournament MVP honors. She also had 16 rebounds.
Ossining returns upstate this coming weekend to play Long Island Lutheran in the Federation Tournament of Champions at the Times Union Center in Albany at 3 p.m. Friday.
