OSSINING, N.Y. -- Players from Ossining Little League Football partook in a free Pace University youth clinic on Sunday, Aug. 21, on the turf at Pace Stadium.
Following a warm-up, youth players went through through a series of instructional stations with current Pace football players and coaches. They then competed in a flag football game.
Participants received a free gift pack that included tickets to Pace football home games for the 2016 season, Pace sunglasses and a 2016 schedule magnet.
The clinic closed with a player autograph session and food for the youth players.
"It's wonderful when we have the opportunity to get our student-athletes involved with the youth of our community," said Mark Brown, Pace Athletics Director. "This engagement is mutually beneficial and I’m not sure which group of students gets the most out of something like this; I know the Pace students enjoy it immensely.”
