The Ossining Community Center provides programs and classes for all ages, with classes for senior citizens and preschoolers meeting in the mornings and early afternoon, after school and summer programs for children, and adult evening programs including social dance, yoga, and aerobics. Open gym and basketball is held every Saturday and Sunday evening.

The Town of Ossining maintains over 130 acres of parkland, spread over five parks:

Herbert Gerlach Park, 11 Reservoir Road; Sitting Park, 201 Spring Street; Snowden Avenue Park, 98 Snowden Avenue and Nelson Park, 50 Washington Avenue. (Facilities at the parks include soccer/football fields, fitness trails, horseshoe pits, pavilions, tennis courts, basketball courts, ball fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, fishing ponds, bocce courts, roller hockey rink, hiking/nature study area, sunning beach, and rest rooms.
