The Ossining Athletic Booster Club is offering fans a bus trip to and from the semifinal game on Friday evening and possible final game on Saturday. Tickets are $25 per person for each trip and must be purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased starting Monday in Laur-Lee Sports at 175 Main Street in Ossining, or at the Ossining Athletic Booster Club meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Ossining High School.
Space on the bus is limited and tickets will be offered on a first-come first-served basis. All riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Tickets to the game must be purchased separately and can be done at the arena prior to the game.
The bus will leave Ossining High School on Friday at the football parking lot at 6 p.m. The bus will start loading at approximately 5:40 p.m. and is scheduled to return to high school at around 11 p.m.
A bus is also scheduled for the finals on Saturday should Ossining advance past the semi-finals. That bus will leave Ossining High School at the same location at 4:30 p.m.
On Sunday, Ossining defeated Monroe-Woodbury 75-50 in the Class AA quarterfinals at West Point. Star player Saniya Chong scored 41 points to lead Ossining to the final four.
The top-seeded Ossining team will face off against eleventh-seeded Sachem East in the semifinals. The game is scheduled for a 6:15 p.m. start at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy. If Ossining wins, they will play the winner of Cicero-North Syracuse and Gates Chili in the final. That game is scheduled for an 8:45 p.m. start at the same location.
