In the spring of 2014, the Club Claremont program was brought to Claremont by the Ossining Upper Elementary PTA and led by Stephanie Ippoliti, which allowed third- and fourth-grade students to attend an enriching after-school program once a week for 10 weeks for a minimal cost.
"I love seeing the passion teachers have doing the things they truly love and seeing all the happy faces as the students are leaving their classes," said Ippoliti.
Ossining’s teachers and assistants teach the classes, as well as local vendors. Class offerings include basketball, chess, math on an iPad, cooking, theater, recycled art, paper crafts, yoga, soccer, science and Zumba.
