“I am looking forward to joining the administrative team in Briarcliff Manor and to supporting the strong curriculum environment that the school district is known for,” said Peters.
Peters is replacing Kathleen Ryan, who has been the interim assistant superintendent for finance and operations during the candidate search.
Peters joins Briarcliff Manor from the Ardsley Union Free School District, where she has served as business administrator since 2010. She held a similar role in the Webutuck Central School District from 2007-09. Peter also has experience in the corporate world, as a finance manager at IBM.
Peters holds a certificate of advanced study in school business administration from SUNY New Paltz, a Master of Science in technical systems management from Stony Brook University’s College of Engineering and is a certified New York state school business administrator.
