Samuel was sentenced to five months shock probation followed by four years probation for his conviction on two counts of Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the First Degree, class D felonies.
Over two days in October 2014, Samuel engaged in conversations of a sexual nature with a 14-year-old girl, including sending her images of his genitals and indicating he wanted to have sex with her, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office. Samuel believed she was 16, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office
The girl was later observed entering into Samuel's car outside of Alexander Hamilton High School, though there was no physical contact between them, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office
School officials were notified by the victim’s mother about the social media contacts between Samuel and her daughter, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office
Samuel was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla to serve the fivemonths of shock probation. Upon his release he will have to serve out his four year probation under sex offender conditions including having his name placed on the sex offender registry.
