Ossining Woman Faces Jobless Aid Larceny Charge

OSSINING, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged an Ossining woman with grand larceny on Wednesday, Oct. 15, after she allegedly illegally collected unemployment benefits, officials said.

Alice Jordan, 47, allegedly collected more than $19,000 in unemployment benefits between August 2010 and August 2011 when she was allegedly gainfully employed, police said.

Jordan is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Oct. 21, police said.
