YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A 52-year-old Wingdale resident is facing a shoplifting charge after Yorktown police say he took three bottles of cologne at Sears at the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown without paying for them.
Salvatore Dimuro is charged with misdemeanor petty larceny and has been released on $200 cash bail, police said. He's scheduled to appear at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 16, in Yorktown Justice Court, police said.
Police said they were called about 3:50 p.m. Wednesday to the Sears on Lee Boulevard in Yorktown. Store officials had the man in custody and told police he took about $185 in cologne without paying, police said.
